Have a wedding to go to or know some newlyweds? This card, while simple to make, makes a statement with the swirls and flourishes connecting everything together.

Project Assembly Notes

I used pearl papers to add that extra wow factor. Set your machine to the intricate cuts custom setting when cutting the layer with the swirls and flourishes and then gently remove it from the mat, the spatula tool will come in handy to lift the intricate cuts. I used foam squares behind the top layer and the heart and then used Liquid Pearls to add the "pearls" to the small heart.

It keeps telling me that it is private when I try to open it for cricut.

Hi Carol. Give this link a try. If it still says private try opening in the web version of Design Space and then saving the file there.

    Hi there!

Very nice card. I’ve been playing with different card stocks, papers and just about ready to cut my shimmer paper for this. I just got the Cricut Maker for my birthday so things are overly obvious to me yet but this was nice.

Question, how is the paper with the two rings supposed to look? I don’t understand what that part is for.

    Thx, Peter

      Hi Peter!

I used that piece for the inside of the card. It will cut as a square with the rings cut out, I attached text set to draw for my card and then layered it on the inside.

Hi Vivian. I use a lot of Cricut Access images in my designs so if you don’t have the subscription you will be charged for those images in Design Space.

Hi Joan! I do use a lot of Access images in my projects so if you are not a subscriber to Cricut Access you will have to pay for those images or try to find free images to substitute with.

This has been an issue since the last app update and Cricut is working on a fix. The only alternative for now is to open and save on a computer.

At this time I do not have an SVG. As time allows I am working on creating SVG files for the majority of my projects though.
