I love the gold and white color scheme for Christmas cards so here is one that has quickly become my favorite. This one is somewhat time consuming to assemble so I will only be making a few to give out to the special people on my card list. If you don't have all of the items on my supply list use your imagination, and what you have on hand, to make the card your own.
Assembly Notes
To start I used my laser printer with print then cut and then foiled using my Minc for the sentiment. For the gold edging on the leaves I used the "write" feature with a Ranger Embossing Pen and then embossed with gold embossing powder, the red "berries" were added using Stickles. Now begin building your ornament starting with the lattice and then adding the rings on top from smallest to largest. After you've assembled the ornament flip it over and add your vellum or acetate to the back and then your craft foam cutout or foam tape. Now add your shaker elements and then close it all in with the solid circle. The rest of the assembly is pretty straightforward, fold your card base as shown and then finish by adding all of the elements to the card.
